At Sullivan High School, students are counting down the days to final exams and Christmas Break. Meanwhile, there are many projects, research papers to finish, speeches to give, and tests to complete.
Two years ago, SHS began the tradition of "12 Days of Christmas in the SHS Library." Students de-stress with handmade crafts, Christmas movies, and games. This year, "12 Days of Christmas in the SHS Library" will feature selfies with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Also, themed days, such as creating Leg Lamp Bookmarks while watching "A Christmas Story," Mario Cart competitions, and traditional board games are just a few of the many activities planned.
"We like to think of our school library as the Living Room of SHS, a place where students can read, research, and collaborate during class hours, but also visit together, craft and even game during lunch hours," said SHS Library Media Specialist, Jennifer Smith. "Students are enthusiastically signing up to participate in this year's festivities!"
